Imerovigli
Known as the "Balcony of the Aegean," Imerovigli is the highest and most peaceful point of the caldera rim. While it offers the same world-famous sunsets as Oia, it does so with a sense of quiet exclusivity and vast, uninterrupted views.
Known as the highest and most peaceful point of the caldera rim, Imerovigli sits approximately 300 meters above sea level. Its name—a combination of the Greek words imera (day) and vigla (viewpoint)—refers to its historical role as a lookout for spotting approaching pirate ships during the day.
The Iconic Path: Firostefani to Oia
Theasis is perfectly situated on the Fira to Oia hiking trail, world-renowned as one of the most beautiful walking routes on Earth. The Route: This 10km (6-mile) path traces the very edge of the volcanic crater, connecting the island’s most charming villages. Your Journey: From our doorstep, you can stroll south to the boutiques of Firostefani and the vibrant capital, Fira, or embark on a scenic northern trek toward the blue domes of Oia.
Roses is located in the most privileged section of the 10km pedestrian path that connects the island's three most iconic villages. This trail is widely considered one of the most spectacular walking routes in the world, tracing the very edge of the volcanic crater and offering uninterrupted vistas of the entire Santorini caldera.
